Turning

Harshman Machine and Tool Co. has full turning capabilities from CNC Turning Centers and a variety of manual lathes. Our CNC capabilities range from smaller bar fed Okumas with high-speed spindles, to our largest Okuma which we can machine parts up to 26-inch diameters. We also have manual lathes with up to 12 feet of travel in the Z-axis and the Bullard vertical lathe that is capable of turning up to 52 inch diameters.

This Okuma 1420 has 42 inches of travel in the Z axis and we have turned diameters as large as 26 inches.


This is one of our bar-feed Okuma Crown L1060 lathes. These machines are used mainly for production work.

This Lansing lathe will swing 34 inches and has 12 feet of travel in the Z-axis. This is used mainly for long rollers and shaft work.

This Bullard vertical lathe will turn diameters as large as 52 inches. The table is the chuck and will machine very large parts.
